The Change-Up is a 2011 American body-swap comedy film produced and directed by David Dobkin, written by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, and starring Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman.[5] The film was released on August 5, 2011 in North America by Universal Pictures.
Dave Lockwood (Jason Bateman) is a family man and lawyer who feels his life is horrible, especially compared to his close friend, Mitch Planko (Ryan Reynolds), who is an actor with practically no job and does nothing but get high all day. Mitch also feels jealous of Dave's life and has a troubled relationship with his father, Mitch, Sr. (Alan Arkin). After getting drunk the bar, Mitch and Dave urinate in a park's fountain, and simultaneously wish that they had each other's lives. Thunder suddenly crashes and a city-wide blackout occurs, to which Mitch and Dave shrug off as a freak power failure. watch more
